The Elev8R Vehicle Water Pipe Adapters are used alongside the Elev8R Quartz Heater as part of the Elev8R E-heater Full Kit for Dry herb and Concentrate vapourisation. Both of these should be filled loosely, no matter whether you're filling partially or to right near the top. This will allow air to travel through and around your herb providing the largest clouds and most even vapourisation. Never Tamp, if anything you can pack the chamber then stir it with the Marble Pick to ensure it is nice and fluffy! We would also suggest a medium or course grind to ensure the best performance.
Also compatible with the QaromaShop Setups. Our preference is the original WPA vehicle.
There are two available options:
The first is the Original Evev8R Vehicle Water Pipe Adapter (WPA). This has a 20.8mm Stainless Steel mesh screen inside and a larger chamber. Having mesh means it's suitable for very small right up to very large amounts of herb, with a dry herb capacity of between 0.06 - 0.8g max. The exact capacity will depend on the density of your herb and the grind, we suggest a medium or coarse grind for this chamber. The WPA has completely unrestricted airflow due to the wide mesh and is our preferred chamber for large amounts of material.
The second option is the All Glass Elev8r Vehicle Water Pipe Adapter (AGWPA). This has straighter sides with no curved glass around the base of the chamber, it also has a glass screen which sits higher up inside the AGWPA. The combination of these two modifications makes for slightly improved flavour and more even vaporization of the material in the chamber. These changes make for a more efficient heater setup, allowing you to run lower temps than on the regular WPA and stir less less, usually just once. We tend to drop the temperature by around 5F for the AGWPA. The glass conducts some of the heat away from the herb at the bottom of the chamber and small pieces of herb can pass through the glass filter. This can be entirely negated by installing a 15.8mm mesh screen above the glass screen, allowing for smaller loads which are vapourised more efficiently which is how we run this setup. The AGWPA is great for small loads of around 0.05g to larger loads of around 0.5g and is our preferred chamber for smaller amounts (0.1-0.2g) as it provides a more even cook of the chamber contents and slightly improved flavour. We use a coarse grind for this chamber to avoid blockages. When these do occur they can be cleaned out with the Marble Pick Tool.
Both Elev8R WPAs are compatible with the porous ceramic Flavor Disc for concentrate use.
When loading the herb chamber more heavily you can also put a little concentrate on top of herb, this will soak down into herb increasing the effects. Crumbly concentrates are easiest but you can also put a little on a dab tool then heat it so it drops off.
Which is better?
That we can't answer for you as we firmly believe this is down to personal preference and how you plan to use it. We use both and love both.
